Coronado Elementary proudly celebrated our 5th grade students as they completed the 10-week D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) program. This important milestone recognizes not only their hard work, but also their commitment to making positive, healthy choices.

Students were honored during a special celebration where they received D.A.R.E. t-shirts, certificates, and pins to mark their achievement. Throughout the program, they learned valuable life skills including how to respect others, stand up against bullying, and confidently say no to drugs and negative peer pressure.

This program would not be possible without the strong support of our community. A big thank you to Long McArthur Ford for partnering with Salina USD 305 and the Salina Police Department to help make this experience meaningful for our students.

We also want to give a special round of applause to School Resource Officer Woodruff. His dedication, passion, and genuine care for our students truly shined throughout the program and made a lasting impact.
