Coronado students had a food drive to help support the Salina Food Bank. Karen from the SFB gladly received the donation and let students know how the donation would be used. In Saline county, some families don’t have enough food to live an active healthy lifestyle and are hungry every day. Monday through Friday families can come to the SFB to get food items from the pantry shelves, every week the SFB gives 12,000 items of food. For the Christmas holiday, they plan to give over 300 holiday bags with a turkey and or ham. Thanks for helping our neighbors in our community. Thank you for giving back! Coronado ROCKS!!
